2. Information we collect
When you contact us for a quote or through our website, we may collect: your name, phone number, email address, property postcode, and details of the roofing work you require. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.
3. How we use your information
We use your information only to: respond to your enquiry, arrange and carry out surveys, issue quotes and invoices, keep records for accounting and warranty purposes, and where relevant answer follow-up questions after a job is completed.
4. Lawful basis
We process your data on the lawful bases of (a) taking steps at your request prior to entering a contract, (b) performance of a contract with you, and (c) our legitimate interests in running our business, keeping records and honouring guarantees.
5. Sharing your information
We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers strictly necessary to run the business (for example our accountant or email host), and where required by law.
6. How long we keep it
Enquiry details are kept for up to 24 months. Records relating to completed work and guarantees are kept for the length of the guarantee plus six years to meet HMRC requirements.
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to processing or request portability. To exercise these rights, email us at whitehorseroofing@outlook.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
8. Cookies
Our website uses only essential cookies required for the site to function. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
